Good teams can get big names in their building. It may take a sweet 16 sometimes, but it's possible. If we could get Michigan and Michigan State in Carver Arena, anyone can get anyone with the right planning.

The issue is getting it consistently.

Geno has brought one good player to the hill top in 3 years. At this pace IUPUI will want a 2 for 1 to play us.

It's amazing how often posts that have nothing to do with Bradley ends up being about Bradley. I guess that's just how polarizing this situation has become. So I guess I'll add my two cents. With the position Bradley finds itself in now there's absolutely no reason for a BCS school to want to do a home and home series with us. We'd be fortunate to be able to get a 1 and 2 situation. Our best chance to become more national was after the 2006 Sweet Sixteen run but for whatever reasons we couldn't capitalize from that situation and build any momentum from it. Since that time Creighton became more relevant and with a move to a BCS conference, should be for awhile. Wichita certainly is more relevant and ISU Blue, UNI and Mo State are all more nationally known than us. With our fan base and up to date facilities there's no reason why we can't be too.

wow - look what Gregg Marshall started - now we have TWO rants in two days that have blown up in the National media - from MVC coaches...GM & Barry

This would serve the Valley better in a year that we would be stronger - but I am afraid thatisn't gonna be this year...
Wichita may make some noise in the post season but....they are NOT a deep team in respect of scoring. Admittedly a lot of players get double digit minutes but only four score consistently.
            - one injury to a key player could make them vulnerable.
