T, when was the last time a game was moved to the Fieldhouse or Ren Col? I don't know, I'm usually gone when the big games are played. Not talking about Regionals.

Nice try at what? Nice try at asking if ive been to a local game lately as a reason for mid illini to not want the peoria schools to join, which i have been lately and unless you are flying back to go to these games you say you wouldnt want any part of, you yourself have not...

And nice try at throwing out bogus attendance numbers as the reason why...

And nice try at not really saying what you mean...i.e. saying Tornado knows which games you are referencing. Why not just name the games, and the real reason behind that comment

As for going to the warmth- I don't blame you a bit! Especially this weekend, I know you definitely wont miss this as we get blasted with all the worst winter has to offer! Enjoy!!!

not sure I know what you mean by "moved to the Fieldhouse or Ren Col" - because nothing I know of was scheduled somewhere else first then MOVED -- all the events at Ren-Col were scheuled there.

Also not sure what you mean by "Regionals" - if you mean any high school games, then I have not even considered any of those.
Obviously tons of women's games have been played in the Fieldhouse & Ren-Col - and I am also not considering any of those.

          Men's events:

          Fieldhouse:
the only games played at the Fieldhouse from 1982 thru 2009 when it was destroyed, were the 1993 regular season game vs. IWU, and the preseason contests & scrimmages every year.

          Ren-Col: (about a dozen & a half separate men's basketball games & events)
Every season since 2010 we have played at least something at Ren-Col...
We have played four regular season games there (1 in 2011, 1 in 2012, 2 this year), two CIT post-season games, and several preseason exhibition games, Red-White, Spaghetti Suppers, Hoopla, & scrimmages.

Big Lance, I didn't try to ask you if you've been to a local game lately, I actually asked you. If you don't believe the attendance has dropped drastically, maybe you should check back 10 years. I know what you are getting at, always the case, but I'm not the reason attendance is down at local games. Just can't face facts nowadays. Careful on the ice, if you venture out to a game this weekend.

Well, I hope to hit a game or two, but im betting there will be plenty of cancellatiins, and rightfully so. And yeah, ive been to local games for the past 25 years or so, as soon as i was old enough to tag along with my dad. And the attendance may be down slightly compared to when Manual was #1 in the nation and Central had NBA level talent, but its still way beyond respectable.

Again, no disrespect to those who are snowbirds-I dont blame snowbirds for BU attendance drop.

Id still like to know which games in particular you were referencing and why, but maybe its just a subject better left for another time.

                Enjoy the sunshine

I wasn't talking about me not being there as the reason for the drop in Bradley's attendance. I meant I'm not the reason attendance has fallen at local, I mean Peoria, high school games. Maybe you should stop trying to pin something on me for making that statement and admit attendance is down and admit the reason. Teams didn't have to be rated #1 to have great crowds at these games.
