Zach Lofton tweeted this morning that he is throwing up and sick. Not a good start to the day for the birds. Oakland is better then their record shows.

Oakland is 2-9, and only 1-9 against Division 1 opponents (they have a win over Rochester College of Michigan). They have played an extremely tough schedule. Some RPI sites show their SOS as the 3rd best in the country, and the Pantagraph article today says they "have played the toughest schedule in the country according to USA Today".

Oakland has losses to these pretty good teams- North Carolina, UCLA, Cal, Gonzaga, Indiana and Michigan State. But they have also lost to some mediocre teams- Western Michigan, Louisiana-Lafayette, and St. Francis (NY). Their senior guard Travis Bader, has a good chance to beat J.J. Redick's NCAA career record for 3-pointers this season. He has 401 so far for his career, and need 56 more to catch Redick's record of 457.

ouch - ISU jumped out early - were up double digits most of the 1st half then came out cold in the 2nd half and scored just 4 pts in the first 7 minutes...

Except that one stretch it doesn't look like they played badly -
          but Oakland's starters were 27-45 (60%) with 44 rebounds
while ISU's starters were 16-39 (41%) with just 10 rebounds.
