I'm still a fan as well - and will be rooting for them next time and the time after...and obviously nobody up on the Hilltop really wants to hear what the fans have to say but maybe they shoulda started listening to us 2 1/2 years ago...

but I posted last February that GF had already suffered more 20-point blowouts, as well as halves of basketball that were complete collapses of 15 pts or more, than we had seen in the entire PREVIOUS decade combined....now it continues..

Add two more already this year - and to a team that wouldn't finish any higher than 5th in the MVC.

Omari had a decent game with 17 pts but not enough to make a "difference" - there were no other "difference makers" as we were promised...

I know i've pretty much lost all interest, I got home late, fired up the game and they were down by 15 already and I shut the feed off. Already knew they wouldn't come back and would just get worse as game went on. I'll probably still go to the games rest of this season as something to do but won't renew my season tickets until they show vast improvement. If it's mid season, then i'll just get individual tickets for rest of that season.

The fan support is mostly still there, even though they have stopped coming to the games (as I predicted long ago, the schedule is the main reason we are not drawing) but that fan support may be on life support.
We had 200 people online here at Bradleyfans.com right after the game, which is an extremely high number of fans checking in after a road game. And as I have mentioned before, our board traffic numbers are as high as they have ever been, so people still follow Bradley closely. Also, the ad revenue generated yesterday was one of the highest daily ad revenues we have ever had. We thank all the loyal fans.
But our leaders at Bradley are about to really screw up a good thing, because those fans are not going to wait around forever to see this total re-build (which many did not think was needed) occur. I know a number of season ticket holders who have had the same seats for decades who have told me they will not renew again until Bradley starts winning again.
If the attendance looks bad this year, I predict it will be much worse next year.

The fallout just keeps getting worse.

It is much easier to rebuild a basketball program than a football program, but I am not optimistic it will happen under Geno. It will be too expensive to buy out Geno and hire a new coach. If Geno does not improve his record dramatrically next year, he will finish out his contract the next year (I have assumed he has a 5 yr contract) and not likely be rehired. That means a new coach and more "rebuilding"

we do have a couple 20+ ppg juco scorers for next year but unless we develop some outside threat to go with them,
and if anyone thinks slasher/driver players are gonna get that at the D-I level - it's gonna be a surprise - other teams will zone us to deaths and pack the lane.
