One thing puzzles me. Maybe someone can explain...From Dave's article:
???It could??™ve meant a ton if we could??™ve pulled it off,??? said BU coach Geno Ford. ???We came in here thinking this was an NCAA tournament team so it would??™ve been a huge win for us. We played the right way and it wasn??™t quite good enough to win on the road.???

Milwaukee has not been an NCAA tournament team since 2006, and is coming off an 8-24 season last year, and they were picked a distant last place, 9th out of 9 teams in the Horizon League preseason poll. What is Geno referring to?

I have always loved reading Dave's coverage of Bradley. But lately he has lost objectivity.
Maybe he might want to rethink some of his words here, like "stellar" recruiting class, and "all solid players who will seriously upgrade the program’s talent level", and, "The good times will soon be rolling again on the Hilltop."

Preseason predictions mean nothing. That is a good team that appears to be very solid. Isu red was picked near the bottom of the MVC, and they appear to be aiming much higher.

UWM's schedule thus far ranks 318 and their RPI is 150 - if this translates to an NCAA team, then I want to buy my tickets now because Bradley's RPI (180) and SOS (230) aren't much different.
BTW _ Dave Reynolds says that the loss to UWM was "palatable". I don't know about everyone else, but palatable means - "pleasant to the taste"...was it??

I'll be honest, I think BU basketball is starting to reflect many other facets of life. Absolutely no one seems to be able to be objective or reasonable or ok with the idea of agreeing to disagree. Everyone seems to take the you're either with me or against me stance... If I think BU played like crap I hate Geno, If I think BU shows promise I love GF and hated JL... I avoid commenting on stuff to avoid this, but I will say, DR and KW are 10x easier on GF than they ever were on JL. Overnight they seem to have found BU-colored glasses.

Many of us figured that out 3 years ago. I figure it's because they didn't have a personal favorite for the job when Geno was hired like KW did when Jim Les was hired.
