ex-BU recruit, Pekin's Nate Taphorn has gotten a real interesting experience this past week at Northwestern...
When Northwestern's main big man got into foul trouble, Nate Taphorn had to play center.
Sure he's 6-7 but he's as skinny as a rail...but this column says...
"Freshman Nate Taphorn, a skinny 6-foot-7, fared OK dueling Missouri's big men."
But the other point of view is this...
"It's going to be a long year...
..Chris Collins has had to go to a small lineup with Nate Taphorn at center, a lineup that doesn't have a prayer
of stopping anyone or getting a rebound during Big Ten play."
