Wash, rinse and repeat. Wash, rinse and repeat. Getting real tired of seeing this cycle keep repeating itself. Lazy passes that get intercepted, double digit misses on 3-pointers and point blank shots and a failure to finish at the end of games. I thought Bell had his best game this year but no excuse to shoot 3 FT's as bad as he did. Walt is the Jay Cutler of this team. Can look brilliant at times but does things that make you go, "What the hell did he just do". When it's good he can carry a team. When it's bad look out. It was good to see the crowd, what their was of it, actually get off their feet during the game to encourage the team. It might have been the foot of snow game that was the only game I've been at at Carver that had a smaller crowd than tonight. PITIFUL. Geno lamated after the game about how we attack a zone defense. I have a novel idea. Get guys who can just shoot the **** ball. Is that so hard? I'm hoping we can turn this thing around but with each game I'm less optimistic. Ten days off until the next game. Need to start seeing some positive things or it could be awhile before our next win.

amazing -- KW basically says that he's not wrong at all in his assessment of BU - that they ARE EXACTLY what he said they are...
but for some strange, inexplicable reason he is just now starting to wonder if the "team is less than the sum of its parts".
Was he there?? Did he not see the failures on both offense and defense?
On offense - We can't shoot but we don't know when to stop trying the very shots we can't hit - the guys THEY have hyped and promoted as lights out shooters, again hit just 20% (3-15)
Our best chance to score comes from Tyshon Pickett who consistently hits over 50% - but nobody passes the guy the ball. You can see his frustration - calling for the ball & never seeing it.
The few points he gets he has to create totally on his own getting the ball on the wing and finding a way - or chasing down the ball himself and getting 2nd chance points.
BTW - all three of their big guys had FOUR FOULS much of the 2nd half and we STILL never fed the low post!!!
On defense - we allowed IPFW to dribble drive the entire length of the court for easy layups over, and over and over and it's all happening right in front of Geno Ford and the ONLY guys who actually RAN BACK - sprinted! - to play any freaking defense (Fields & Wells) got to play less than 2 minutes & were yanked.
Their big guy Kibiloski - surely someone had a scouting report, but the guy doesn't play like a big man - he never goes near the basket, does not get rebounds, and roams the perimeter shooting 3-pointers.
He hits 42% from 3-pt range and we just let the guy have his way - especially early on we left him unguarded over and over. Did we not know that's his game? Did we not get the memo?
Da Coach's game thread ought to be required reading because if you go back to the first post in this thread - he tells you all this!!!
We're looking like 5-9 come New Years Day.

In the print version of the newspaper, Dave's article is headlined:
"IPFW topples the Braves", which is pretty kind for what we saw last night. But the 3rd paragraph would have been a far more appropriate headline:
"Oh, how times have changed."
He also grades Bradley overall a "C". We just lost to a 200+ RPI Summit League bottom dweller on our home court, and they lead nearly wire to wire, and the grade is a "C".
Man, what do the have to do to get a "D"?

There are some slight exaggerations here??¦.I don't know where they were rated in the Summitt but they were a decent team who played Dayon, Illinois, and Miami very close on the road??¦.with that said we should never lose to them at home??¦
Nobody said we had lightsout shooters(better shooters, yes)??¦.OG makes one more and he goes from below average to pretty good??¦one shot and we win??¦
regarding #20??¦he may have had a couple of open shots but he was covered well one the others??¦he only took 5 total??¦.he's a good shooter. After picking up his 4th foul he never saw the floor again which I thought was odd.
Dave may have been a little soft but KW hit it on the head IMO??¦..
