I wouldn't mind seeing a slight bit of objectivity, instead of calling every recruiting class "stellar", comparing them with recruiting classes that went to the NCAA, won conference championships, and had lottery picks in them, or referring to every incoming player as "impact players" when they can't even get playing time.
And please stop making excuses for the team when we lose.
I have most of those ridiculous, over-the-top worshipful articles & columns saved if you want to see them, but suffice to say that we have been repeatedly told successful and brighter days are right around the corner, and that we are better coached, and have better talent than the last coach. It has been like living in the twilight zone.

very few people are calling for a new coach - way, way fewer than the small batch that actually got their way in 2011 -
In fact "9" appears to actually be the only one - we just want to see something better than what we've been seeing...
you were there lefty - you saw the crowd - you know that thousands no longer come because they know we now have a chance of losing to teams whose very name prompts a snicker...
The AD claimed during the JL era that he always sits at courtside taking notes so he can fairly evaluate the coaches....but I do not see him taking any notes now..

Ok. Let us thing of all the positive things that have happened this year. I can park my car close to the Civic Center without paying for parking. For those of you parking in decks, there is no waiting upon arrival or leaving. I never have to stand in a line to use the men's restroom. There is no waiting in a long line for concessions. I have plenty of extra room in front of me and to the sides as there are so many unoccupied seats. I do not know how long this progression of decreasing attendance can continue without serious changes to the program or personel. I still will try to support Bradley basketball.

So if they were more objective then all is ok?

Oh, and yes, I am sure I'll be linking to those articles eventually, but if I go into the "I told you so" mode right now, it gets a few touchy people really ticked off.

most of all those links to the articles are saved right here in the threads on BradleyFans - they are saved automatically but the system -
it is funny occasionally to go back and read them - like the ones from Bahamas touting all our new guys as D-I ready and giving us tons of depth - and the ones hailing us as a tremendous 3-pt shooting team and better by "light years"

I think even DR knew this was coming tonight - but he went ahead and "voted" with his heart again picking BU as a slim ONE-POINT winner over IPFW..
but I think he knew we have a good chance of losing...
...recall - he was pipe-dreaming & picking us as double digit winners a few weeks ago and even as nearly double digit winner over Illinois!
