  • 2014-15 Schedule

As our non-conference games come to a conclusion in the next few weeks, it's never too early to begin speculating about our non-conference schedule for next year

-Not much of anything is known for sure, but it would seem quite reasonable that this weekend's game at UW-M is part of a home-and-home, so we will possibly host them next year.
UW-M game notes suggest that this might be a one-time game as part of the deal to substitute a game for the BracketBuster return game Loyola owed us.
"..the Ramblers moved to the Missouri Valley Conference this summer ... the matchup came together to assist Loyola with completing its BracketBuster contract with Bradley ... "

-the IUPUI and UTPA games were said to be guarantee games so I doubt we play there...and the Arizona State & Illinois games definitely won't include a return game here.

-I would have to think there's a good chance we'd host West Virginia Wesleyan again as an exhibition opponent.

-we went to UIC last year for the BracketBusters and generally that deal includes a return game two years down the road - so there's a probability we will host them in 2014-15

-does anyone else have any insight? Will we play CMU again - maybe that was a 2-for-1?

I note the BUBraves.com web site is already working on the 2014-15 roster - so we'll have to keep an eye on the schedule

The UWM release confirms that this game IS part of an agreement involving BracketBusters, Bradley, UWM, and Loyola - so it leaves in the possibility that the deal may also include a return game in Peoria next year - otherwise why would Bradley agree to a one-time road game at UWM?

The game is in UWM's small on-campus Klotsche Center - rather than the usual, bigger US Cellular Arena.
Their winning percentage has historically been over 70% at Klotsche better than it is over the past decade at US Cellular.

They only drew 2637 announced at the big arena against N. Iowa. I wonder how they will do in the small arena against BU?
