I'm trying to really be knowledgeable about the Valley teams. Could someone post a depth chart of the Bravess? Here is how I see the Shockers:
PG - Van Vleet, Baker, Cotton Simon
SG - Baker, Wiggins, Cotton, Wessel
SF - Cotton, Wessel, Wiggins, Early
PF - Early, Carter, Wessel, Green
C - Lufile, Coleby, Carter
Obviously, things can change throughout the season depending on performance, injuries, etc. With the Shockers, the Center position is especially fluid and the player who is playing well on any given night will get the minutes. To this point, Lufile has played well more consistently than Coleby or Carter, but then Coleby and Carter are both trying to find their way in the Shocker system while Lufile was playing with them last year. Coleby was able to practice as he sat out his transfer year, but that is just not the same as playing the games.
Van Vleet and Baker may turn out to be the best backcourt duo in Shocker history. They both handle the ball extremely well. They're both born leaders and the team already belongs to them even in their sophomore years. They are both as good defensively as they are offensively. Cotton is one of the greatest defensive players I have ever had the thrill of watching for the Shockers. He has also raised his game a great deal on offense. Early is simply an amazing athlete and has a chance to be a high level pick in the NBA. Lufile has come so far from where he was last year and looks like he will be a very solid Valley center.
I'd be happy to see your thoughts on the Braves as well.
Thanks
