couple Big Ten games on TV - Illini doing well against Georgia Tech but letting Georgia Tech back into it over and over - now in the final 2 min and it's a 2-pt game

Indiana played well for a few minutes against Syracuse but now getting their butts handed to them
nearly a 20pt margin down the stretch

UNI up 3 at Wisconsin-Milwaukee - early in 2nd half

wow - hard to believe Illini gave that one away - turnovers, bad defense, bad shot selection - and Georgia Tech does not look to be a very good team...

then the Hoosiers looked absolutely impotent in the 2nd half and get soundly beaten by Syracuse...

So far Big Ten is 0-2 -- Michigan & Duke coming up

Illini were up 60-48 with 9:11 left and scored 4 points, a FT by Abrams and a 3 point play by Egwu. They were extremely tentative coming down the stretch. Rice carried them during the mid part of the game but wasn't part of the offense during that last 9:11. UNI down to Milwaukee 63-55 with 7:00 left. Been outscored by 15 in the 2nd half.

Northern Iowa falls at UW-M 83-72...
UNI had a long cold stretch in the 2nd half that killed them - outscored 17-0 in one stretch...and going from 11 points up to 9 points down over a seven minute stretch.
UNI was only 5-24 from the arc - They also got outrebounded by UWM 42-33 - soft?


Minnesota beats Florida State 71-61 - FSU falls to 5-3, MN is 7-2.
Lincoln College's Kiel Turpin - still has not played for Florida State due to nagging knee injury.
He was expected to battle for starting center and he does not have a redshirt year available.

Duke beat Michigan by 10 but led somewhat comfortably much of the time.

IU's Tom Crean kinda throws his team under the bus and blames the loss on the players stopped executing the game plan..
I don't get it - so he just stood by and let it happen and hoped it would correct itself? Isn't he in charge?

Hope we have a better showing than UNI. But no matter what itll give us a real nice comparison.

UWM has done a good job thus far this this year - most of their roster are kids who couldn't get playing time at an MVC school (McWhorter) or are kids who were recruited & passed on by MVC schools.
