If a coach makes a jump in the Valley??¦..it wouldn't bother me at all if he was in our league??¦??¦it would add a little spice and would remind me of the old days when the crowd yelled at the opposing coaches -
He is making pretty good money in the NBA right now. He might not have any desire to deal with the NCAA and college recruiting anymore. His name has been mentioned for a couple of head NBA jobs.Comment

But -- some colleges pay their head coaches $1 million, $2 million, and even $5-6 million!!
While he was the head coach at Indiana - he was making at least $1.5 to $2 plus extras for TV, etc...so settling for his current job was a step down taking only a fraction of what he was previously getting.
Even Geno is reportedly making close to that TOP NBA assistant quote of $800K - and most assistants want to be a head coach.Comment

Bruce Pearl will be free to coach NCAA basketball again on August 23, 2014..and there's already plenty of talk of him being in high demand instantly when that happens..
