plus there's just possibly a chance that GF wants to NOT announce filling the "final scholarship" so he has a little more clout with opportunities to recruit this spring should a transfer (Nate Taphorn?), a blue chipper (Josh Cunningham), or late bloomer open up -Comment

Academic work? This is his 3rd year of college. He spent a 2 months at DePaul (Aug-Oct, 2011), then the rest of the 2011-2012 academic year at Indian Hills CC, then the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons at Blinn. It has been over a week since Macari Brooks visited Bradley, and 3 weeks since Macari Brooks tweeted that he had committed to Bradley, which was then touted on several recruiting sites.
But unlike with every verbal commitment we have ever had in the past, we have seen no article from the PJ Star, and we have had no confirmation from Bradley. In fact, even Macari Brooks stopped tweeting and deleted his Twitter account.
I have tried to get some information from Bradley insiders, but all they will say is there is no official commitment to report.
Does anyone else find this strange? And just as strange, after reporting about him verbally committing, the PJ Star writers seem to have imposed a gag order on any further information about it.
Has Macari Brooks committed to Bradley of not? Does he get the last available scholarship for 2014?Comment
