Important game for the Shox, as they have not played anyone great so far.
BYU is solid and if they stroke it from outside, might be a tough game for Wichita.

    This is a resume builder.

Evansville should at least hang with the Hoosiers...I expect about a 12 point win...by IU.

it will be impressive if they do hang with Indiana - as the last time they played the Hoosiers they got blown out, so it's time for a little payback

SIU beats Stetson 67-48, SIU shooting 26 FT compared to 11 for Stetson

Evansville at Indiana is on Big Ten Network - almost 4 minutes in Evansville hasn't made a basket yet - 9-0

        edit - now 12-0

UIC loses to Louisiana Tech 103-78

          Wichita beats BYU 75-62

          Missouri State beats Liberty 54-52

Indiana 77 - Evansville 46 - 3 of the four Valley games feature a team scoring 52 or less, so maybe the new foul rules are not helping produce more offense?
Evansville shot very poorly, and Indiana dominated the rebounds 58-30.

Illinois beats UNLV 61-59 - Ekey 3 pts but Rice 25

The Shox looked really tough down the stretch last night. They have a couple more tough non-conf games, but they could still go undefeated before Valley play.
I think they lose only 3-4 games before Arch Madness. They are tough-minded and are motivated to get back to Sweet 16 and more this year.

Something would really have to go wrong for Wichita not to win the league. They are good at many different phases of the game. I'm guessing they will lose a game or two in the league, but they should walk away with the title.

Can we at least wait for them to win a legit road game! Go through a Valley road trip?

Also Id like to see them win 1 game without 4 to 5 phantom 3 point plays.

Have they had anyone foul out yet? They foul EVERY PLAY

Agree they should win this league and not break a sweat. Crazier things have happened but I don't see it in their future. The rest of the league needs to use their program as a benchmark. i love the way UNI and Creighton recruited 6'6" to 6'8" shooters and had alot of success doing it. Wichita seems to do it with athletic kids who can score in alot of different ways. It seems to work for them but hasn't for us. Maybe with the supposed talent were're bringing in, it may, but not seeing it yet. I don't understand why other schools freshmen come in and contribute right away but we don't seem to get much help from ours in their first year????? Is it we are not recruiting kids good enough to help us or are we just not doing a very good job of developing them?????

                    Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

It's our recruiting Geno has brought in one good player since he has been here. What do we do next year when Walt and Pickett are gone?

WSU has 4 true freshman on their roster??¦only one has played(2.8 minutes a game) if I'm reading stats right. Two RS freshman and they have averaged a little over 6 minutes combined??¦??¦then again maybe you weren't talking about the Shox

Not really talking about WS but more along the line of MS,UNI,ISU Blue and even SIU last year . Are you satisified with the Frosh and the minutes they've contributed over the last 5 or 6 years?? I'm not but maybe I'm off base here. Since we brought up WS,who would you rather have Bell,Fields or the Soph pg from IL that WS has? Name escapes me right now, senior moment, but he was a good one last year as a true Frosh.

Fred Van Vleet is the sophomore guard you are thinking of. He and Baker played a lot as freshmen, and contributed significantly in their Final Four run.
