that doesn't mean he would have went....I'm pretty sure kids like to be recruit by anyone......the more the merrier....

you guys know there are very few sure things in recruiting

There are also a million different opinions, but usually only 1 is 100% correct.
Everything I have said is based on information told to me by reliable people with connections to BU or the Peters family, rather just on my own speculation, which others here are certainly entitled to have.

This much I feel certain about based on information I was told by someone closely associated with the Bradley staff- Bradley coaches watched Alec Peters several times (2 of our coaches had kids playing for a team in the same conference); the coaches had different opinions about him, but the final say was the head coach's and he did not think that Peters would fit his system and thus we did not pursue him.
The rest of what I have heard comes from people who know the Peters family (which I do not). They have said Peters would have liked to have heard more from Bradley and would have strongly considered Bradley, but he never received interest.

Now, since everyone else is speculating and opining- IMO, I think he would have have made an immediate impact here, and would have given us an outside threat that we don't have. I also think that if Jon Ekey can be a significant factor for Illinois in his 5th year of Division I, and Nate Taphorn can get minutes at Northwestern in his first year, I certainly think Alec could have played and contributed at any of these schools. I predict he'll easily win the freshman of the year in the Horizon, and may get votes for the All Horizon League team.

I know ISU recruited him hard and really wanted him. IIRC the engineering school at Valpo pushed him that direction. ISU does not have a school of engineering

Love the kids UNI recruit that are big kids that can shoot. Something we haven't had since Crouch and Zobs. I've said all along that I would take Alex over Taphorn and Blispling.Doesn't matter now but I REALLY think we missed the boat. Time will tell but I wish we would recruit some bigs not so athletic but can flat ass shoot like Creighton and UNI recruit.

BTW - one other kid who Bradley was after - Jared Brownridge - is also doing pretty well - he's averaging 20.3 ppg
Former BU recruit Jared Brownridge is averaging 19.5 ppg as a freshman at Santa Clara through his first 4 games. He easily leads the Broncos on scoring, and he is also averaging 3.5 assists per game. It's early, but he is among the top 5 freshmen nationally in scoring, right behind Jabari Parker and ahead of Andrew Wiggins and Julius Randle.
