Bradley soccer- Bradley plays in championship game today (Sun. 11/17) at 1:00 PM

Bradley's 3-2 overtime win over Evansville on Wednesday, and their 3-0 win over Drake on Friday have moved them into the MVC Championship game today at 1:00 PM at Shea Stadium. Bradley (12-6-2) will play the #1 seeded Missouri State Bears (11-4-2).
MSU has scored only 17 goals this season (average of 1.0 per game), but they have yielded only 7 goals all season (average of 0.41 per game- best in NCAA Division I) and have an MVC leading 11 shutouts in 17 games. But they have been shut out themselves in 5 games. Ironically, they are last in the MVC in goaltender saves, which means it is their team defense that keeps their opponents' scoring so low.
Bradley averages 1.6 goals per game (2nd highest in the MVC), and has yielded 1.15 gpg (3rd best in MVC). Bradley is 2nd best in the MVC with 9 shutouts, and they are #1 in the MVC with 5.2 goaltender saves per game.

FoxSportsMidwest has started their coverage of the title game, but because of the delay, they are just talking about the weather and the teams.

The MVC officials will assess the field condition at 2:00 PM. If the field is deemed playable, the game will begin at 4:00 PM. If the field is deemed not playable, it will be cancelled, and moved to SIU-Edwardsville tomorrow, time to be determined.
Fox has now switched to alternate programming and will return at 2:00 to announce the findings.
