This is terrible, unless their is some sort of dramatic improvement in the next few weeks, this team will be lucky to finish above 7th in the Valley. Just no offensive flow and defense still sucks. I'm not going to bother mentioning anything about Geno, that will just start a war, but still no improvement over last season. If anything, maybe a little worse. Not going to bother listening to the 2nd half.

all I want at this point is for our guys to fight hard and try to close the gap.but not likely if we keep zoning a team that's killing us from the arc and also much more athletic and grabbing every rebound

I am not going to pile on, as we can all see this team is a long way from being good enough to compete against good opponents. And I am not even sure Illinois is that good. When Walt is taken out of the game, we just do not have the players to score or rebound against a decent team.
I am interested to see how the PJ Star writers sugar coat this.

Why are our starters still in in the last minute? Wouldn't this be a good time to get the other guys some valuable experience?

we have no offensive scheme and defensively lost our guy way to often and made no adjustments at all. Very disappointing. Hopefully we can get better quick.
