I listened in to the webcast from the Ohio broadcasters and they repeatedly commented that this was a really nice, unexpected win and they were kinda surprised how the Bobcats played so strongly against a highly regarded opponent

SIU leads William Jewell 30-23 at end of 1st half. Freshman Sean O'Brien with 7 pts, 3 rebs, Desmar Jackson 2 pts, Bola Olaniyan scoreless

Evansville up 10 late in 1st half on Martin Methodist

Looks like MVC will go 7-3 in first 10 games but hard to draw much when a lot of those were against DII level opponents

in the Drake-UIC game, UIC seemed to control the game the first half - but Drake is beating up on UIC now - Richard Carter has 34 points, and Drake is really outhustling UIC while the Flames are taking poor shots early in the shot clock.
