Grier and Barnes have really impressed me thus far. Grier gives us the shooter we've needed. He's just a natural scorer, and takes a lot of the pressure off Walt. Barnes might be my new favorite player on the Braves. He contributes on both ends, and can help out rebounding. I haven't been watching other teams in the Valley, but they have to be two of the best newcomers in the conference thus far this season.

I liked what I saw out of Pross today, though they really didn't have anyone who could match up with him. He needs to have this type of mentality all season. KB had a great all around game, even if he had a lot of fouls. If he can stay out of foul trouble, he could be fantastic. XT needs to mature a bit, but other than the T, he had a good game, and I think he's exactly the type of player Bradley needs coming off the bench.

I know this wasn't a great team, but I loved what I saw out of the team today, and look forward to seeing what we can do against a better opponent in Central Michigan.

From my perspective that depth we have been hearing about does appear to be there. I hope Grier can maintain that shooting stroke the whole season since we have needed that bad for a while. That should open things up and Prosser and company can have more games like yesterday. It's also a good sign that Lemon played only about half the game and the team continued to roll on. This should be an interesting season as the team continues to gel.

Looks to be a Good season

This game showed that we have the potential to be not just a good team but a great team. If you watched the game close enough you saw communication. The teams that communicated the best are usually the best teams out there. You also saw some toughness. Most fans will disagree with this but when Xzavier Taylor got the Technical foul, it says a lot. That this teams not going to put up with that crap. That if a team shoves one of there brothers there going to retaliate. The main thing that I saw was how much better we were from the exhibition game to Friday nights game. You could tell a difference. This just shows that these kids are willing to put the work in

2013-14 MVC Regular Season Game Pick Em Contest Coming Soon!

BU's progress this preseason has been a good sign of good things to come.

Particularly the 2013-14 MVC Regular Season Game Pick Em Contest

The often imitated, but never duplicated, AZ BU Fan Pick Em Contest, exclusively for BF.com posters, will be back bigger and better than ever this MVC regular season... Just like BU MBB...

The bad puns, horribly irritating comical pictures, nonsensical analysis, and cut throat competition are coming soon! Along with the usual typos and results mistakes... And don't forget all the whining/pleading by participants when they are late with their picks from back to back mid week games!

Who will take down DC as champion for 2013-14?

Will DC repeat and become the equivalent of the Alabama Crimson Tide in the MVC Regular Season Game Pick Em Contest?

                      Will Tornado ever participate?

How many will 'endeavor to persevere' this season and take home the coveted title - MVC Regular Season Game Pick Em Champion

All these questions and more will be answered soon once the MVC Regular Season Game Pick Em Contest kicks off on Bradleyfans.com

                      NO PASSWORD NEEDED TO PARTICIPATE

The proceeding has been another shameless plug for the MVC 2013-14 Regular Season Game Pick Em Contest here on BF.com...

Liked the way we played and the improvement we are showing. By the way who recruited Lemon and Prosser? Keep them going Geno.
