I have just learned that Trevor Stumpe, a 2015 kid who is averaging over 35 points per game at Plainfield North HS, has a sister and a cousin who are currently students at Bradley.
I don't know if we are recruiting the kid, but I'd like to see a kid like this at Bradley.

This is the kind of kid I've been talking about and he's 6'5" and can flat shoot it. He talks about Colleges that are recruiting him and UNI comes up. They do an outstanding job of getting kids maybe not so athletic but who can flat out shoot the ball. I to hope we get on this kid . He should be familiar with us with a sister and cousin here.

I have heard that William & Mary will be in this week to look at 6'5" shooter Trevor Stumpe. I also have received a note from someone close to him saying he'd love to hear from Bradley. As far as I know, we are still not involved. He is a knock-down shooter with great ball skills

why wouldn't a school want a shot at a Jeremy Crouch or Alec Peters-type player?
In fact, the kid who killed us in Milwaukee, Austin Arians, is that kind of player -
a 6-5 kid who knows the game and hits a large pct of his 3-pointers..
60-70 percent of all the shots Arians takes are 3-pointers yet he is listed as a forward...and he had virtually zero DI offers..

BTW - there's a brand new interview here with Stumpe and you mighta guessed it - Creighton is after him...

Kinda interesting story - Wayne McClain lost last night to one of his ex-players!
When Wayne was at Manual - one of his kids & former "ball boys" was Michael Mosely, who has since gone on to become the head basketball coach at Bloomington HS..
BHS beat Wayne's Champaign Central last night 71-53...

Trevor Stumpe just scored 34 points tonight in a win tonight against Plainfield East.
I have heard that Bradley has not been in contact with him. I wish we would. It seems he would be an ideal compliment to all the athletes we have.

Trevor Stumpe was outstanding in all facets & was in full attack mode. Split defenders & got to basket, made shots, got strips defensively.


I have heard that Trevor Stumpe's family would love to hear from Bradley, but are wondering why Bradley doesn't seem interested.
