The women looked to have found their stride in the 2nd half. Won 74-50. After losing the two most prominent players on the team from last year it seemed like it took them a half to exorcise those demons. Looks to be another year of fast break transition basketball. GO BRAVES
Did anyone notice the women's team at the men's game Saturday? They all sat together, and changed locations in the arena about four times. They spent most of the first half wandering the arena in a long line, finally settling behind the visitor basket. Odd.

At least they were there. Maybe they were trying to be be noticed so others would know they were supporting the team.
I think they had just come from a team meeting or a practice.
But they still had to make their way to Carver. So they ended up sitting behind the opponent's basket. That's where BU's students sit. How many other students were there? Hats off to their coach for having them support their fellow students.
Actually I was wrong. They started by the opponents basket, in the student section. Then they sauntered their way to the other side that section. They then got up and walked all the way around the building, the whole team in a long line, and sat behind the BU basket, switching locations there at least once. Good that they were there to support the men, hopefully the boys will reciprocate.
I heard that the women's side had a 6 recruits in that day. One from Washington State University that actually committed when she was on campus. If I read right on here that is 6 new commits and that new girl Reed that has to sit this year. I see a change just like Geno has done with the boys.
The Bradley women are playing Illinois and it was close throughout the first half in a high-scoring game, with Illinois pulling out to an 11 point lead in the final minute of the first half. The Halftime score was Illinois 52 Bradley 41. But Bradley has gone on a big run in the 2nd half to take the lead.
BU now leads 75-66 with about 10 minutes remaining. Michelle Young has 25 points for Bradley, and Kelsey Budd has 19. Catie O'Leary with 15 rebounds already for BU.
