      world series

We had plans for my wife and two kids for tonight. Been pump up for days to see the new guys then they droped this bomb. No way will I pay 80 bucks for upper iowa. I'm staying home and watching world series and I'm a freaking cub fan.

Again, you can get tickets for $12.50 per ticket for a family of 4. You wouldn't pay $80, the price would be $50.

And they are playing games by offering a cheap little hot dog and and small fountain drink with that. Nobody wants that. Just make single tickets reasonably priced and don't ofder some stupid deals. $12.50 is still more than the $8 seats at Carver for a regular season game.

Makes sense.....get people there with $10 seats.....dogs, popcorn, or soda all $1 each....give people a reason to come back! Everyone I talk to just sees the RC mens games as a pure profit center and is turned off by it!

Really a shame. Whoever is in charge of things up on the Hilltop now days must not know how much Peoria and much of the surrounding area love Bradley basketball. To see the controversy over an exibition game is sad. The student participation is sickening.
What part of illegal don't you understand?

There is no upper bowl at the Ren. Col so there is no comparable ticket price for the $8 ticket at Carver Arena.

Top half of the facility = cheap tickets.

Uh, yeah. I know that. That's not my point. The point is there is no option for people who cannot afford high priced tickets. I guess they are just not welcome. I could have paid it but that's not the problem. The problem is this game was not worth that.

Big Mike that just makes way to much sense. I know they don't care but they will NOT be getting $20 a ticket from me in the future. I spent $40 for two tickets behind the basket and I could have moved to the 4th row behind the table on an aisle seat right behind Prossers parents. That how bad it was. What's it going to take for somebody on the hilltop to get a clue.

So I guess it's ok to just ignore the $50 pack that got 4 people into the game plus a hot dog and a soda. Apparently that ticket package was only available to a few people and not to everyone.... And yes, some people only bought 2 tickets, well I'm sure you know 2 people that you could have split the 4 pack with. But it's easier to complain on a message board I guess. So wily, that would have cost you $25 for your 2 tickets plus a soda and hotdog. Even if you don't take advantage of the soda and hot dog that's $12.50, which I think personally is a fair price to watch a division 1 basketball game.

Again, people just want to buy single tickets at a reasonable price. We don't need gimmick deals. It's also about what is a Bradley basketball ticket worth at the moment? Is this a $20 a ticket for an exhibition game team? I also heard the comparisons to what Illinois charges for exhibition games. Well, Bradley is not Illinois. I tell you what. When Bradley becomes the Duke of the Midwest i will not complain about prices any longer.

Your not gonna believe this but it's true. I bought my tickets the second day they went on sale and that package wasn't available then.I could be wrong but I don;t think they came up with that until they realized sales weren't going so well and they had heard some grumblings. If I'm wrong I apologize but I hadn't heard about that until last week and my neighbor and his wife bought two tickets and weren't aware either. So we would have done that if we hadn't bought ours so early.

Well said, the $20 ticket isn't the only problem here. Like I posted earlier we paid $20 a ticket for the post season games last year and I had no problem with that but to pay that for Upper Iowa and than only be able to get endzone seats when we had more no shows than people show up in the middle sections was an embarrasment for our program. As someone posted earlier charge $20 if you want but let the seats be first come first served. It's not that hard.
