Many may not remember or may be too young, but not too many years ago Bradley held several exhibition scrimmages in area high schools, and as far away as Springfield.

Yes they did but it's been more than quite a few years ago. I worked a scrimmage at Washington when Roger Phegley was at BU. NCAA did not let schools do that very long.

One more preseason "Madness" event is worth mentioning...

DePaul had their Midnight Madness tonight...and based on the recruits present it might have been a partial success...

BUT -- many people tweeted comments about how few fans were present - comments like the place is dead and that there were more recruits present than fans...underwhelming

They held the event in their on-campus arena (McGrath) that only holds about 3000.
Former ESPN broadcaster Bill Raftery was there as part of a Big East broadcast team - and he said DePaul looked very, but then I suspect he was being paid to say that

          This tweet says:
"DePaul's players really put on a show for the 18 people who actually came to their Madness."

This guy thinks there were only ten people there!!
