Creighton loses 69-54 at Fresno St.

(I am starting to really wonder about the BlueJays this season)

Something's up over there, maybe too many injuries and/or lack of chemistry. But coaching has to meld the players together, especially on a team with as much talent as Creighton. Creighton should win easily Thursday against a struggling Valparaiso team at the Outrigger Hotels Rainbow Classic, but they need to ratchet things up a couple of notches if they intend on contending in the Valley this year. Winning the Rainbow Classic would help tremendously.

People can say what they want about Jim Les, but he has definately outcoached Dana Altman so far this year!

Dana Alman can't be happy giving up that many points and losing by that big a margin. For as great as their recruiting has been, they are getting nothing from their bench.
From PJ Star sports expert Kirk Wessler in his Jan. 10, 2012 column following 8th loss in a row at Drake-
"Yes, the Braves are better than they were when the season started two months ago. By a light year or two, they??™re better."

And from the PJ Star 4/26/12, Dave Reynolds-
"Fields and Grier both appear to be difference makers. If Bradley continues to add the right players around them, happy days may be ahead for the Braves after a long dry spell."

Funk was 1 for 9 from 3 point range.
Creighton was 4-24 as a team.
Even Tolliver and Watts were jacking up 3s, and as a team Creighton is now .275
on the season in 3 point pct. That's dead last by a country mile among MVC teams.
