The 2013-14 list is already starting...
Donnie Hale just announced he's leaving Purdue & transferring ...
here's the quirk - he says he wants to be closer to home, but home is New Albany, IN (across the river from Louisville)
- and only a handful of schools are any closer than where he's already at (Purdue).
Evansville, Indiana State, and EIU are all closer.
Devonte Graham isn't exactly the same - but in effect he sorta is - wanting to dump one school that he's bound to and go somewhere else
...he's a talented kid who had signed a LOI to Appalachian State last November, 2012,
and would have been a freshman there this fall - except he's obviously been hearing from bigger & better schools - so
now he wants out of his LOI to Appalachian State and would like to go elsewhere. ASU, however, will not let him out of the LOI, and they think he's being tampered with - so he simply didn't enroll there and went instead to Brewster for a 5th year (graduate year) of high school. However - the fact that he is not let out of his LOI prohibits any other school from openly recruiting him...even tho Butler, Creighton, Wichita, Providence and Pittsburgh already are...
The statement in the 2nd link - by Appalachian State is good - and strongly states their point of view.
