Richardson kept busy fulfilling his role as team co-captain in charge of rookie hazing. He coordinated the dumping of 20 or more industrial-sized bags of popcorn into rookie center Patrick O'Bryant's prized 2007 Inifinti FX45 SUV at Thursday's shoot-around before the team's game against Houston.
O'Bryant said it cost him $100 to get the car detailed, although the cleaning crew couldn't remove all of the evidence.
``I found a couple extra little pieces in some cracks,'' O'Bryant said. ``It still smells buttery. The detail shop sprayed vanilla, so now I have vanilla popcorn.''
