Loyola has added another late addition to their 2013-14 roster- Tony Nixon. Nixon is a 2009 grad of Seton Academy in suburban South Holland, Illinois, and he transferred to Loyola after 4 years at Northern Illinois. He was a good shooter and scorer in high school, and lead them to the 2009 Class 2A state championship in Peoria. But was never a high scorer at NIU.
He was injured and redshirted his senior year, and thus will take advantage of the 5th year graduate ruling that allows him to transfer and be eligible right away. He played against Bradley twice, including an 11 point performance at Carver Arena his sophomore year.
