Hopefully no one has to avg more then 30 minutes and ideally would be 25-27 minutes a game. That is what makes teams like WSU so tuff is their depth.
I really don't see us NOT playing 9 guys each game, unless a youngin' really goes through a rough patch in the middle of Valley play.

We signed Barnes and Blake for immediate PT, and then we've got probable starters Lemon, Grier, Pross, Pickett.
2 backup PGs in Fields and Bell who will see the floor nearly every game if healthy.
Geno is going to try to get Swop and Steph PT as big keys for our future.
That's 10 deep with Xzavier & Wells on the bench, who will hopefully be big contributors by next season.

I'm not extremely worried about our 3-point making ability quite yet.
As long as teams don't barrage us with the zone, we should be able to work the ball inside or get open looks from 15-18 feet. And we've got a lot of guys that can knock down those shots:

Grier, Fields, Pickett, Lemon, Barnes, Swop

      I agree -
after all the talk about how much deeper we are this year - wouldn't we at least play as many and go as deep as we did last season?
Last season we played 9, 10 or 11 players in all but a couple games out of 35 games.
I think we will regularly go 10 deep this year - barring injuries - because that's exactly what we have as our strength that can beat the other Valley teams.

Ahh, the 'ol Cubs lament: "hopefully be big contributors by next season" for current RS Soph Wells.

Hopefully he won't join the list of BU 'next season' bigs who never quite had that big season SS, DC, and AT (arguably WE w/injuries and JP so far to a lessor extent)....

MS & XT may break the cycle of bigs at BU that never quite lived up to the recruiting hype when signed...

hope so - but MS already was one place where he didn't live up to the hype...so he gets a do-over
