I think Zecevic has a nose for the ball like Jake Eastman. 10 rebounds! Wow!

I to am concerned about AF and his assist totals but we are gonna love XT. If minutes this week mean anything he is ahead of Nate. Nate needs to keep working hard ,it's hard to teach 7'1".

Bobby Parker reports the final score was actually 90-55, not 91-54 as reported in the stats.

After a shaky start, when new players were probably trying too hard to make an impression with coaches, BU settles down and plays better.
3-1 makes it a more pleasant trip home for the team. Would have to believe everyone got to know each other from the experience, and, will have some fun memories to help keep them striving to get better in practice.

What could turn out to be very positive is the players' hopefully realizing jacking up 3's is not going to win many games for BU this season. Defense, rebounding, and ball movement/inside game is the key to their success. Geno was given a gift with this preseason tour and practices. We'll now see how well he and his staff leverage this experience to improve the players as well as the team.

Sorry for the delay. We immediately went to dinner and I've had to deal with WiFi issues. Postgame recap posted with video.

NASSAU, Bahamas - Bradley opened the game with a 16-0 blitz and seven players scored at least nine points as the Braves (3-1) rolled to a 90-55 victory against MailBoat Cyboats Thursday.

                            CUMULATIVE stats

FIVE players averaging 5.5 rebounds or MORE - 5.5 would have been in the TOP TEN in the MVC

                            Other really good stats -
Walt is hitting 58% of his shots
Prosser is hitting 77% of his shots!
Tyshon is hitting 49% of his
The five guys who would look to be our starters hit 40-50 from the FT line
seven different players with 5 or more steals on the trip - and almost 15 stl/gm as a team
caused 20 TO/gm and held opponents to 33% shooting (not sure if will translate to MVC)

                            A little concern -
other than Walt, Tyshon, & Prosser, the entire rest of the team is shooting only 35%
a couple players with really lopsided assist to turnover ratios
The rest of the team hit only 26-54 (48%) from the FT line
                            21% from 3-pt range

Omari Grier's 3-point numbers for the 4 games are poor, but he will be the key whether Bradley does shoot a better 3-point percentage this year. I don't believe we can expect much from the freshmen, but if Omari can get his stroke down, it will take a lot of pressure off Walt and teams won't be able to double-team him.

What really stands out to me is how divided the minutes were for 10 of the guys. I'm sure some of that will change in the regular season and probably even more onece we get into the conf. portion of our schedule but if we really can go 10 deep, which GF keeps stating, then we will be a lot better just from rest alone. Hopefully no one has to avg more then 30 minutes and ideally would be 25-27 minutes a game. That is what makes teams like WSU so tuff is their depth.
