Their 2014 recruiting class consisted of one BLUE CHIPPER, James Blackmon but Blackmon just decommitted...after committing to IU BEFORE his freshman year!

Blackmon becomes the second highly rated player in this class to jump ship after verbaling early to Indiana -
Trey Lyles is a 5-Star stud who also reneged from Indiana a couple months ago --
rumor has them both heading to play for Calipari - which if it happens will really fuel the UK-IU rivalry!!

Tyler Ulis - a highly touted PG - still undecided...
his college destination seemingly being decided with heavy "shoe company involvement"...
his father getting a job as a NIKE "sales representative" and Ulis' AAU being sponsored by NIKE -
and then suddenly several Nike-affiliated schools get in tight with Ulis...hmmm...
gotta wonder if hte kid lands at a NIKE school - would his dad just maybe land a raise as well??

Ulis may have to wait on James Blackmon's decision. Blackmon is the highly rated point guard who committed to Indiana way back in the summer of 2010, before he even entered high school. But he mysteriously de-committed last week, and is now considering several new offers, including one from Kentucky coach John Calipari. Since he committed to Indiana, IU has aligned with Adidas, and it is rumored that his decision to de-commit is also being driven by shoe company interests. Kentucky has a huge contract with the shoe company with the deepest pockets, NIKE, and they are sorely in need of a point guard for their 2014 recruiting class.

That might be true but Blackmon is a shooting guard and one of if not the best shooter in the class. Blackmon and Lyles who decommited from IU about a year ago will both end up at UK and should put some tension between Crean and Calipari who are supposed to be friends.
