Some people seem to be hung up on Bradley will win more games because the Valley is weaker. It is all relative. It is each teams job to be good and get better each year. If they do not then that is their fault. If a team wins more games because they are better then kudos to them. They got better when other teams should have improved also but did not. Too bad so sad! Bradley is better. Period!

and if it is because the rest of the MVC is much weaker then I don't really give a hoot....heck - there's one team in the Valley I root for being weaker very year.Comment

I've not seen the new guys but,anyone who thinks it's gonna be hard to replace last years 3 srs on the offensive end of the court must be living in a different world. Loved Jake didn't care for his shot.D-1 player in heart ,hustle and nose for the ball. Not a D-1 offensive player. Loved DSE at the defensive end but not the best shooter to get us out of THur night games. Please don't take that comment that I thought he was the sole reason we played on THUr his whole career. Only 1/13th of the reason. Will E. loved his game when he was on the floor but hard to keep him on it between injuries and DUMB fouls.From what I've heard we are going to be much better this year and put that with what alot of people think ,a weaker league we should not be playing on Thur.night this year. Let the games begin.Comment

I am not suggesting we lost offensive superstars. But Will and DSE were both double digit scorers who held their own in the MVC, and we don't return any reserve players from last year who are ready to step in and replace them right away. What I am saying is that anyone who thinks we have new guys who can step in and be double digit scorers right away are the ones living in a different world.
The juco guys weren't even close to double digits in junior college. The two transfers barely averaged double digits combined, and that was 2 years ago, and we haven't seen too many freshmen step in and average double digits since Hersey.
We will look ok against Bahamian club teams and the first part of the schedule, but after we get past all the weak teams on this year's schedule, this team could struggle offensively.Comment

Correct me if i'm wrong but no one said we need double digit scorers to replace DSE and WE. We are gonna be much deeper this year and I don't care what the guys average just as long as we have more people than our usual 6 or7 to come in and contribute. From what we're hearing that seems to be the case. Maybe as many as 10 getting minutes this year. This may be the deepest team we've had in years.
