  • A good win to help BU's RPI

DePaul wins again tonight to move to (5-5), absolutely demolishing Wake Forest.

The Blue Demons dominated from start to finish and looked like a team that could raise some *heck* in the Big East. Good win!

The fun part of it that I know everyone from Peoria will love ... the halftime show was .... QUICK CHANGE! And, as always, they were great

P.S. Is it just me or has it been like 5 months since BU last played?
    Go Braves!

      BRING ON IOWA ST!!!!!!!!
Iowa St only beat lowly Savannah St by 11 points tonight. There's no excuse not to wipe the floor with them on Saturday. However, something tells me that isn't going to happen.

Despite DePaul's win tonight, our RPI dropped 5 spots to 118. Weird.

I have a bad feeling about the long layoff and what will be a road game (anything not played at Carver is a road game for BU, the way they play away from home)...

I hope for the best though

Check out this BU press release from a couple days ago pointing out that Jim Les likes long breaks.
" Jim Les is 6-2 in his career when given a full week to prepare for a game, including a 2-0 mark with at least 10 days to prep."

Following an 11-day break for final exams, the Bradley men's basketball team will return to action Saturday when the Braves (6-3) take on Iowa State (6-3) in the Mediacom Cyclone Capital Classic at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.? Saturday's 2:05 p.m. (CST) game will be televised nationally on ESPN2 with Dave Revsine (play-by-play) and Doug Gottlieb (analyst) calling the action.

I'm aware, but that was a road loss. I didn't think it would affect the RPI as much as a DePaul home win over Wake Forest. DePaul's win will probably pay dividends for BU down the road RPI-wise (assuming BU takes care of themselves).

i have a bad feeling as well- but don't we all? its a road game
but i think the good thing going for us is that isu has a big game after bu (not sure but someone in top 25) similar to our tennesse tech loss before michigan state

And they just played a pathetic Savannah St team and only won by 11. We could be sandwiched in a good spot. Let's hope so. We need this game.

Well, the stars could align, they could lay down against BU and get fired up and pull the upset of all upsets at Ohio St. That would cause BU's RPI to skyrocket!
