so it's the Basketball Travellers' fault -

Kent State ended up winning 101-72, shooting almost 50% from beyond the arc (12-26)
...so in the first 23 games of the Summer of Thunder - the US teams are 20-3 and the Bahamian teams are 3-20

In other games outside the US - played under Fibe rules -
Marshall won their final game in Canada against McMaster 81-56, Elijah Pittman scored 18, plus 9 rebs - the team shot 44% form the arc.
Penn beat a US Military base team in Italy 111-42!!
Cleveland State beat St. Jan Antwerp in Belgium 77-68 shooting 33.3% from the arc - this was their worst shooting game yet - and they are averaging 37% from the arc in 3 games
Nevada won in Italy 122-51 (>50%)

Kent State cruised again to a 90-75 win over Bahamas All Stars, shooting well - hitting 10-22 (46%) from the arc
They are getting 13 different players some decent playing time with nobody logging more than 26 min and only two players over 22 min.

Wisconsin loses their first summer exhibition game in Canada

they got drubbed by Carleton, 95-82..not exactly the kind of defense effort you'd expect from a Big Ten team..

Carleton shot 44.4% from 3-pt, and the two teams combined to shoot over 40%
..but this game wasn't even that close - it was 51-36 at half and the lead grew to over 20 pts in the 2nd half - then the Badgers kinda closed a bit against the Ravens' subs

Ex-Bradley recruit Ben Brust had 4

Kent State has already played a couple of fairly close ones in the Bahamas - now they have another vs. the Cybots...

In the final period they are finally pulling away a bit and have stretched their 3-pt lead into an 8-pt lead...
their 3-pt shooting is about average of what all the teams are hitting - mid-30% range

Kent State won their final game in the Bahamas - they come home 4-0..
In their four games they averaged 95.5 ppg, giving up 76.8 ppg
They shot 47.1% overall (145-308 ), and 39.2% from beyond the arc (40-102)

US teams are now 22-3 in the Bahamas with Green Bay having the remaining games against three of the teams we played

Wisconsin's exhibition games continue to be a bit eye-popping - especially the defensive numbers...

they finished up their Canadian tour with a 113-105 OT squeaker against an all star batch of players at St. Michael's College in Toronto.
                Kaminsky had 26, Dekker 23.

Green Bay is the final team to be playing in the Bahamas - they won last night..-
with the Phoenix starters playing good (28-29 mpg) minutes..

                UW-GB 81 - Bahamas All Stars 69
