I have heard nothing but good about Da'Monte and saw him for just a few minutes at the shootout this summer - he is a fine player -
Great that he's getting the coaching and guidance from the staff at Manual - he should develop a bunch there...

I hope so. The cupboard is just so empty in the city, especially at the upperclass level. Hopefully he can develop into a D1 player. At his current height, he already has the size to play PG at the next level. If he grows to 6'3, he could get some looks from some major schools.Originally posted by gerry View PostComment

well - the July recruiting period and the summer AAU season came to an end today...
Dave Reynolds did a pretty good job reporting on some of the local players, and we have a few well connected guys like gerry & midstateknowitall feeding us some valuable reports....

I think we have 3 underclassmen that are going to get plenty of recruiting attention. They are as follows: Williams and a pair from Metamora Kennell and Danny Adams younger brother. Both are Sophomores. Those 3 are going to get plenty of attention in the next 3 or 4 years. If Jim youngman would have stayed at Metamora his son would have given them 3 really good underclassmen but he gone. A.J. Youngman might be better than any of those 3 mentioned above.Comment
