The team sucks and the athletics at BU as a whole suck.
I don't see why people complaining is so offensive..
I am optimistic and we are all going through one of the darkest times in BU basketball so....if we can make it without cyberkilling eachother...we can all be merry and happy on here when we start winning titlesComment

we have been down and it apparently contributes to some frustrated fans turning on each other looking for someone to blame..
but I will be there as usual supporting the team unconditionally and I hope we get a great turnout no matter how our kids do.Comment

Good progress last season from 2011-12, really good home record, top scorer and #2 rebounder in the Valley coming back, recruits that look pretty good - picked 3rd in early preseason, a head coach and staff who seem to be very competent, why all the doom and gloom?
The previous coach got base on balls for 4 years and every year there was incredible optimism for the upcoming season and for the "best ever recruits"...
Why dump on the team now, while still being loyal fans of BU

the coachdude - please be honest - you are one of many who know what goes on on the other board - you know the mods are fully aware of the identity of the people involved and that they are a bit deceptive in leading others to think the poster in question comes from this board when he does not.
and as for whether the team "su**s" this year - I don't think so....
as I said elswhere - we will have a Player of the Year candidate in Walt Lemon, and one of the very best low post players returning in Tyshon Pickett.
The new guys add athleticism and hopefully scoring will result....but the biggest factor that leaves the Valley wide open is this.......
Who else is gonna be any better than us?? Wichita is obviously everyone's top pick - but they do lose several very key players - 5th year PG Malcolm Armstead, PF Carl Hall who got votes for POY, near-full-time starter Demetric Williams - that makes 3 of their top 5 starters - and ssome key reserves..
Just about every other team is rebuilding with all new players - ISU, Drake, Evansville, SIU...
Indiana State is the only team that returns even as much of their offense and starters as we do yet their final record last year (18-15, but 4-8 in their last dozen games) was little better than ours.
We've all been waiting for what was promised when Geno got his own players - so let's get rolling....Comment

IMO, there are more on this board who are still anti-Les that those who root against the program. If you are insinuating that the top 2 posters on this board root against the program you are wrong. Athletics - "Bail Out The Braves!" or "Fund The Fines".... possibilities are endless...
In exchange for a couple mil, donor gets his/her picture on the jumbotron at
Carver before every commercial they play during games, his/her face painted
at half court at the RC, and, can become BU's new MBB mascot, "The
Judge"...
Before the team takes to the court each home game, the successful donor gets to don the
new mascot's outfit and lead the team out on the court:
"Here comes da judge, here comes da judge, here comes da judge!"
Not so seriously, BU and GF had no chance with trial in Ohio vs an Ohio University...
Any local judge or public defender lawyer who tries to line up with GF or BU gets voted out of office....
It's "The American Way!"....
