SIU just signed a very late 2015 recruit, Jeremy Postell, a redshirt sophomore at new Mexico Junior College.
Jeremy Postell- a 6'6" wing, who will have 2 years of eligibility remaining. he is originally from Atlanta.

Jeremy Postell was a part-time starter last season for New Mexico Junior College (played in 27 of 32 games, and started 11 games). he shot only 35.2% from the field, and 31.6% from three. He averaged just 6.1 ppg and 2.0 rpg.

These meager numbers seem to suggest he may be a walk-on, but that cannot be confirmed. Neither the SIU website, nor the SIU fan message board has any mention of his name.

SIU & Barry Hinson have reportedly landed a late 2015 kid -
from John A. Logan, Bobbie Mannie - possibly a walk on..
...he's small, 5-11, but supposedly good defensively and "a great leaper"

Bobby Mannie is originally from Herrin, Illinois, right outside Carbondale. He averaged 3.3 ppg at John A. Logan College as a sophomore. He shot 34.5% from three. This has to be a walkon.

For the 2016 commits - tomorrow marks exactly 3 months until the Letter of Intent signing period begins..
We should expect at least two signings - hopefully a 3rd!!

Of the players listed above who are 2016 commits - only Kock, Kennell, Barnes, McCloud, Lohaus, and Gooch are eligible to sign a LOI



ps- the lengthy "Transfer list" that Jeff Goodman of ESPN has - shows most of the transfers have found a landing spot by now.
Bradley's fall classes start in just two weeks - and so do classes elsewhere - although some start even earlier - Missouri State begins August 17, less than a week from now!
Which begs the question - there are still two members of Bradley's 2014-15 basketball roster who transferred but still have not landed anywhere yet.
So, are they going DI anywhere?

The downside is that this pickup means juco transfer Kevin Baker did not make grades and will not enroll at Missouri State

Aldonis Foote - formerly of Peoria Central HS right here in Peoria
He's a 6-6 Forward just finishing at Trinity Valley Community College in Texas..
he will be a junior and have two years left..
Many recall he helped lead Central HS to the IHSA State Championship in 2012

Missouri State's 2015 class was pretty shaky - one guy didn't qualify...and one other just barely made it - getting himself qualified just as fall classes began..

Evansville just added one new player. Ohio University transfer Ryan Taylor, a 6'5" wing player who just finished his freshman year at Ohio U., has committed to transferring to Evansville.....

one of Bradley's former 2015 recruits that a lot of people here liked... is Lincoln's Gavin Block - who is a freshman at Ohio...
in an article on the new players Ohio has and their losses (including Ryan Taylor who is now at Evansville)
it sounds like this is an ideal situation for Gavin Block - as Taylor was a very similar player and that clearly opens up some potential for immediate playing time....
There are still other similar players ahead of Block but none are great shooters - so it's still possible he might not play or even redshirt...so time will tell

Looks like Aldonis Foote's commitment to Missouri State was short-lived.
