now they are recruiting as poorly as any MVC team - and with the exception of Beane - who they got by hiring his dad - they've kinda struck out inside Illinois
Jordan Caroline was first team all MVC freshmen this past year.
OK - so who improved themselves this spring and who did not?
I think Bradley scored best this spring without any doubt - while Evansville, Loyola, and SIU all landed pretty weak classes as it stands now - of course that doesn't stop any of these kids from becoming an unheralded star.
The one UNI recruit Aarias Austin still has a lot of problems to resolve (plead not guilty and has court date for jury trial 7/14/2015)...

I have to agree. Coach Wardle has done an incredible job landing good talent so late in the recruiting cycle, virtually every other school was already done recruiting, and little talent was left.
Plus, Bradley's recruiting class will grow by one additional player if Coach Wardle gets the player he wants with his final scholarship. We'll know that in a couple weeks when the visits are over.
Also to be added to the list of incoming Evansville players for 2015 is this guy...
7-1 Sergej Vucetic
He's already sat out the entire 2014-15 season so he is eligible this year but he probably won't see a lot of action playing behind Mockevicius...
and according to that article posted elsewhere - he's been hampered by injury.
definitely a kid who was under the radar...
He is reportedly the nephew of Drake legend Lewis Lloyd - ankle injuries stalled his recruiting and a lot of his offers fell away...
He visited at WKU recently and was expecting an offer but apparently they failed to extend one...
and as recently as just a couple weeks ago he was planning to go to juco due to paucity of offers/options
There are variable but few reports of his stats...12-15 ppg but it's actually kinda striking that there's such an absence of any articles that mention his scoring or stats.
