I am surprised Billy Wampler committed this early. He is a great recruit for Drake. I would like to see Bradley get a kid like him. He averaged over 25 ppg as a junior. He is a lot like Jeremy Crouch- a very good shooter, and he can handle the ball well for a 6'6" kid. He was getting interest from a lot of big schools, and he even had some pretty good offers like Auburn and Creighton, along with a bunch of midmajors.
Indiana, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, among others, were following him.
