not really a Valley recruit - but arguably the top rated uncommitted kid - Cliff Alexander -
is being strongly pursued by Kansas, Illinois, DePaul, Indiana, Michigan State, Kentucky, and others..

but recently someone asked him on twitter what would he use to make his final decision between the current schools on his list..

he responded...with a comment that kinda hints at money changing hands....but hey - maybe he's talking about better food down south of the Mason Dixon Line..

After a little more reading it is apparent that this is a really good get by Paul Lusk -
I realize the kid wasn't ranked 4 or 5-Star, but he was being pursued by Wichita State, and getting decent interest from Colorado, Mizzou, and even Kansas State....
He's a solid 3-Star and rated among the top 3-4 players in Missouri by some...

but what makes this an important get for Missouri State is that they are landing their top targets...
We saw the past few weeks, that Ray Giacoletti at Drake and, of course, Gregg Marshall at Wichita - have been landing their top targets.

Can't say for sure but doubt the U of I recruited anyone on that list except Mike Shaw and he's on our list. Know what I mean????? Top targets don't mean a thing if you don't reach for the stars and I think we found ours. Lets hope anyway.

...actually - this is not the first time Xavier has beaten out someone in the Valley recently --
they nabbed Matt Stainbrook & Remy Abell that Bradley had pursued, and they have a few others on their roster that Valley teams were after
