As a very young child growing up in Peoria, I had a playmate named Frosty.
No, he wasn't imaginary-he was a real person.
Forrest 'Frosty' Anderson Jr. was the son of Bradley basketball coach Forrest 'Forddy' Anderson Sr. Frosty and I were the exact same age and use to play together.
Then Frosty's dad got a new job as Head Basketball Coach at Michigan St.
I never laid eyes on Frosty again until one New Year's night in the Orange Bowl in Miami. I was sitting in the end zone and watched Nebraska Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Rodgers throw a 52 yd 'halfback option' td pass to my old playmate(see youtube link below)against Notre Dame.
