Bradley is scheduled to host an unofficial visit today (July 1) from 2015 combo guard Prentiss Nixon, a high scoring combo guard from Bolingbrook (IL) HS. He also plays for the Illinois Wolves AAU program.

Not saying this is an example, but does anyone ever think a coach can come off as too desperate and hurt their chances with a recruit...something like

"Sorry coach can't make it, I have to go to the zoo today."

"Oh I understand, ...bu but butttt but HERE TAKE THIS OFFER ANYWAYS WE LOVE YOU."

considering how so many kids brag about all their offers - or even if they don't...I think they welcome every one of them as a feather in their cap...
Maybe like getting asked numerous times to the prom - even tho I know I can't say yes to all of them - they are appreciated..

I think it is more important to get the offer out early to a kid who is obviously someone who would be a good recruit. A lot of coaches offer kids before getting them to visit, and some offer before they ever see a kid.
