        Right. I think our time zone kind of puts us in no man's land as far as media goes, and Dinwiddie wasn't that highly regarded out of HS. He's developed pretty well under Boyle.

            Canada loses to Russia in the semi's so they will play for 3rd-4th place, and Russia will play for the Championship


            For the Canadian team Indiana State's Manny Arop has been playing a bit but not much and not scoring

            The Canadians shot poorly - Kevin Pangos was 2-11, Kyle Wiltjer was 3-11, overall they were 23-62

              At the World University Games - the USA beat Finland to take 9th place - Doug McDermott was said to be HELD SCORELESS - maybe the other Big East teams need to get a tape of that game!

              one of the stories that went unreported was that the Philippines team quit, packed up, and went home after they had a couple injuries...
              All their game the past week or so have been forfeits.

                The title game will be on ESPNU tonight at 8PM so don't look if you don't want to know..


                but Russia won the title of the World University Games by beating Australia 81-74
                Canada finished 3rd, losing 87-74 to Serbia
