I saw this comment on the Cincinnati site about adding Nebraska to their non-conference schedule..
Seems a bit disrespectful of Nebraska AND the school they contrast them to...
"..seems like a quality opponent. But hey, they all can't be winners. ..
A Big 10 opponent won't kill your RPI or anything like playing......
Mississippi Valley State would"
one more thing- here's a little snicker at the expense of Larry Eustachy - who has never been known for stocking his non-conference schedule with strong teams...
they have yet to release their whole non-conference schedule for this coming year but they have released a teaser...
they leak to the press what they must think is an example of quality scheduling...
They will play Lamar ...problem is Lamar was the worst team in college basketball last year!!! Nice job Larry!!

I suspect it is. Bradley was hoping to add 2 road games, and the Arizona State game was one of them.
In his article, Dave says-
"Bradley officially unveiled the majority of its men’s basketball nonconference schedule Tuesday"
and
"One more nonconference game remains to be scheduled during the Dec. 7-20 timeframe."
That will probably be another road game, but I suspect they might be holding out trying for a home-and-home format.

SIU reveals a new BLACK jersey they plan to wear this coming season...
This is a football promotion but people can bid on the jerseys now and their names will be ON the jersey!!
... then they will own them once the Nov. 12 game is played.
I think this is a really cool idea and we should explore doing it for basketball -- I'd bid on one with my kids' name on it and I am sure other people would, too!

within a couple days after he made that statement - it was then announced that Bradley had arranged a "buy game" with Arizona State - something that Da Coach knew and posted about well before anyone had the news anywhere
.... and that BU was still looking at possibly one more or some other game added to the schedule between Dec 7-20....
..so with the schedule complete now - we're not going to add any more
