  • This needs to be investigated by NCAA

    but I know it won't....

in a premium article and interview on the Indiana Rivals site - the father of one the the top
high school kids in Indiana, Indianapolis Cathedral High School's Jalen Coleman reported this...

"..Jalen Coleman .........is transferring from Indianapolis Cathedral to La Lumiere School in La Porte.
....the La Lumiere staff followed his Indiana Elite team around a lot this spring.

...his father said La Lumiere could provide full scholarships that Cathedral couldn't, so the expense is much less.
Jalen's younger brother also likely will be attending La Lumiere. Isaiah Coleman is a promising frosh-to-be this fall."

so La Lumiere actively follows kids around, watches them play and assesses their basketball skills,
and recruits them - offering full scholarships

Isn't this a violation? Can someone give the kid monetary benefits
such as tuition to go to school just because he's a good basketball player?
