Possible conflict with MVC Tournament?

maybe it'll be a different weekend but in 2017 St. Louis is hoping to host the SEC Basketball Tournament at the Scottrade Center
..could there still be some conflict since some of the team personnel and media crews get there and set up a week in advance..?
..or could this just be St. louis' way of Challenging the MVC's action of considering other cities - LINK

As things stand today, the SEC tourney would not conflict with the MVC Tourney since we play the weekend before, but I'm just guessing that the St. Louis Blues wouldn't be real excited about the prospects of both tourneys in their venue. But that's just speculation on my part. They have been pretty respectful of The Valley the last 20 years.
