Did john Wilkins sign a LOI with Bradley?

No - John Wilkins never signed a LOI to Bradley -
but.... what does it matter - he was unable to enroll thus went to junior college - that instantly nullifies any signed LOI

I was just asking couldn't remember. I guess I don't understand why Hawkins LOI with WSU wouldn't be void also.

it wasn't voided because - first - WSU failed to grant a release to let him out of his LOI, and he did not enroll in a non-D-I college or juco - so Hawkins is still bound by his original LOI

the official LOI penalty is a ONE-YEAR penalty - BUT -- the Missouri Valley members - by full agreement extend that penalty to TWO YEARS to prevent any teams within the league from recruiting players off the other teams' rosters!

thus, as I understand it, by both the LOI rules and the MVC rules, he is bound for TWO years to his original LOI but that two year clock only starts ticking when he enrolls at a 4-year institution.

Yeah I get all that. Muller must think there is a loop hole somewhere. I can't imagine he or Hawkins would want to wait two years.

Here is a potentially dumb question... but could Teddy be taking classes at ISU this summer, transfer to Lincoln College for the 2013-2014 school year, and return to ISU to play the 2014-2015 season (for 3 more years)? Would going to a Juco void the LOI to WSU, and thus, wipe out the MVC 2 year ban? Does it matter that he is already enrolled at ISU?

So many questions and so few answers. It just seems so unlikely that Muller would take him on if he had to sit out 2 years, and it seems equally as unlikely they Teddy would pay his own way for 2 years, not play, and have only years left to play.

Nevermind... the transfer to a Juco does not void the 2 year ban:

4.2.3 4-2-4 Transfer. The intra-conference transfer rule shall apply to a
student-athlete who transfers from a Conference member institution to a
two-year college and then to a certifying Conference member institution.

Lofton apparently went thru this once already - was a 2011 grad and was considering Minnesota then failed to qualify.

BTW- one of Lofton's juco teammates, Danny Lawhorn, is an ex-BU recruit and is headed to Washingotn State in the Pac 12.

People are getting worried, but I think everything is fine. He has played all summer in a pro-am league with some very good competition. Here is some video of him.

He shoots every time he touches the ball though.

wow - I looked at his stats and you are right...
At San Jacinto, he put up 350 shot attempts, 141 of which were 3-pointers... ..but wasn't their leading scorer.. Mohammed Lee averaged 19 ppg, Zach 16.6..
His shooting percentages were pretty average 47% form the field overall and 34.8% from the arc.
Numbers are a little like Champ Oguchi so if he plays team ball he can help them with his scoring..

where did you get that figure - the NJCAA stats say 13.4 shots per game..
For comparison- only two players in the MVC came close to that number - both of whom scored over 20 ppg for their efforts..

I went to the San Jacinto site and they list a 26-4 record with ZL taking 349 shots =11.6 spg
Bradley site lists W Lemon taking 446 shots in 35 games = 12.7 spg
by a point guard for comparison sake
