Former BU Coach Honored as Legendary Coach
I knew Ron Maestri when he was at BU and he was a great guy and I am happy he is being honored. In retrospect, he would have made a great Ath. Dir. for Bradley. I also knew baseball Coaches Leo Schrall and Dewey Kalmer.
After having such great coaches it is pitiful and shameful what has happened to our once great baseball program with the current coach whom I understand was personally selected by Ms. Glaser. -
Our current baseball program is an embarassment to the school. If it was a money making sport he would be gone in a heartbeat unless Ms. Glaser would save his a--.Originally posted by wizard View PostComment

Ron was highly successful as the baseball coach at UNO from 1972-1985.
But he is 72 years old now, and this seems a bit unusual. I wish him success.Comment
