The Bears pick Guard Kyle Long of Oregon with their 1st round pick (20th pick overall).

Looks like most experts projected him as a 2nd round pick. He is the son of NFL HOF'er Howie Long.

The Bears pick a linebacker with their 2nd round pick- Jon Bostic of Florida State. They were expected to take a linebacker in the first couple rounds, however Bostic was projected to go lower (3rd round) and there were several linebackers still available that were rated higher, most notably Arthur Brown.
