I think it's time to back off the Nate bashing, give him more time to develop the skills he will need to be a contributor next year and let the chips fall where they may. He's a good kid, a hard worker and deserves some space.

No ones bashing! We are all HUGE NW fans here! Well most of us lol I think we all know what a surprise 7 footer can bring! I dont see this kid selling out either like someone! I just see a lot of Danny Moore in him and wanna see it come out asap! Think if he takes a huge leap from now till Sept/ October and why wont or cant he. Lets go Nate!

Don't know if/how extra time and training can improve quickness/explosiveness and lateral movement... BU has had other centers in the past that needed those same improvements and coaching/training staffs weren't able to pull it off. Easier to add weight, strength and shooting... 7' is nice, but without real long arms, quickness, or explosiveness, pretty easy to defend/attack with more athletic smaller players.

Any other players who have pulled off this kind of metamorphosis?

Hopefully NW can do it.

There are drills for all of these things and if he is as hard of a worker as everyone says he is then he should, if not than that falls on the staff, I believe in the staff and Nate to get this done! Sooner than later! Cant wait for the season!
