Whats the latest report? How is everyone feeling about him?

Is he still a yr away? I hope not but would totally get it and think 2 solid yrs out of him and Geno has done a good job w/ him.

I don't like the PT he got last yr....I am not saying he was ready ...I just think we should have thrown him to the wolves a lil more.

So far .....Shooting should be much better, Getting to the rim could be much better. Team wise.

But at this point don't miss because I think we are going to have to out shoot our opponents by a lot because who is our close out defensive rebounder?

Pickett? Better offensive than defensive rebounder, Prosser? Wells?

Hopefully as I am typing this there is also a report on a front line recruit give us another option and so we can play Pickett as a 3 and 4 not 4 and 5 I think that and the workouts are gonna really pay off for him and Walt, I am thinking pick and roll could be our bread and butter shot clock winding down go to goodness!

Wells may be ready to get more playing time this coming season - at least he has 2 years in Geno's system..
he's 7-1 and still has 3 years so I think the coach doesn't want to give up on him yet

That is great to hear. If he can give us 5-10 solid minutes a game next year, it would be huge for this team in my opinion. Especially defensively.

I do not expect much from Nate Wells in his time at Bradley. I do not believe that Geno is going to recruit a significant big man,. Maybe his other recruits will exceed.

As much as I wish I could subscribe to this, I am doubting geno is calling one more year of JP and an unproven/still developing NW enough of a frontcourt and thus isnt recruiting for the 5.

The MVC in large part Is an undersized league where any moderately talented big man can domintate based in relative skill at the position. Leads me to believe that the lack of true centers signed this year isnt for lack of trying or desire.

I still think Nate will contribute to the team this season....the kid needs some game minutes to gain confidence.....he's already made 2 of our own player's wear mask in games just from practice....we could use some intensity @ the 5 during games in my opinion!

Big Mike,wish I could see that happening but I just don't. If we go into this season with JP and NW our 5's we still are in trouble. I think we've got the talent to escape Thur. night finally but don't see top three with those two getting majority of the minutes at the 5. Hope I'm wrong but don't think so.

Nate is a great kid, but he just isn't going to contribute anything beyond "mop up" minutes on this team.

and IMO how does a 7'1" RS Freshman D1 basketball player not have a hook shot. I can ****ing hook shot.

Not just Nate...but JP doesn't hell no one does anymore because all they do in HS is dunk.
